Parameter table to document
| Parameter group | What to record from the actual model | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Source / plant | Nominal ratings, base values, geometry or dataset conditions | Defines the operating point and reproducibility. |
| Controller | Gains, sampling time, references, constraints and limits | Explains dynamic behavior and fair comparison. |
| Solver / study | Solver type, step size, tolerances, mesh/study settings where applicable | Separates numerical artifacts from engineering conclusions. |
| Test cases | Baseline, disturbance, load, fault, environmental or parameter-sweep cases | Supports validation rather than one-case demonstration. |
Evidence rule: do not invent missing values. Extract them from the actual model, video, paper or source files and label their origin.

Validation methodology
- Define a baseline before the proposed method.
- Use the same plant and disturbance set for comparisons.
- Report numerical settings that can materially change results.
- Use multiple operating points where robustness is claimed.
Result labels
- Simulation result: measured from this model run.
- Observed result: visibly present in the supplied project evidence.
- Expected result: engineering expectation, not a measured value.
- Paper-reported result: value taken from a cited publication.
- Example value: illustrative only.
